ABOUT
Born in a small town in Southeastern Wisconsin, our community was surrounded by farms on rolling hills in picturesque countryside. Initially my love for animals drew me to the farming lifestyle but I also grew to appreciate what it represented to me- animals and families working together with nature for self-sustainment. That fuels my artwork. Self-taught as an artist, I experimented with various forms of media. As a teenager I tried oil paints on canvas for the first time and have never looked back.
Today, I continue to get the most pleasure from the learning process of creating art. I learn from every painting worked on but I also find a lot of satisfaction from viewers who express appreciation of my work. Hearing what they see and feel from it and what it means to them helps me to see my work in a different light, giving it new meaning and purpose.
