"Old Glory" - print

From the Artist: A Percheron mare seems to acknowledge the red, white and blue on a sunny, snowy day. At one point, draft horses were at the heart of building America.  From harvesting and clearing timber, excavating foundations and hauling supplies for the construction of buildings to daily chores such as planting and harvesting crops, hauling fire fighting equipment, working in the mines and even working alongside our troops in wars, draft horses played a vital role in making America what she is today.  Rendered scenes like these are intended as reminders to us of their historical relationship in "Old Glory".
